Why an ensemble gets a site
The Warrior Network is built out of instrument sites: one family each, taught properly and in depth. That model has a gap in it, and this site is the shape of the gap. Some things about music are not true of any instrument on its own — they are only true of several instruments agreeing about something — and a mariachi is almost entirely made of those things.
Take the armonía. Two or three strummed instruments, one declared pattern, struck at the same instant. Everything worth saying about it is a statement about agreement: which slot gets a stroke, which gets a braked slap, which gets nothing, and the fact that the answer is the same for every player in the section. No guitar site can write that down, because on a guitar site there is only ever one pair of hands.
What is here, and what is deliberately not
Here: the three sections and what each owes the others; the five song forms and what calling one actually decides; the four mánico cells, declared slot by slot with everything else derived; and full chord, scale, key and neck references for the four instruments this ensemble seats.
Not here: how to play any of them. Not one word about right-hand mechanics, string gauges, tuning, posture or gear. Every reference page carries a door to the sister site that owns the instrument’s family, at the same URL, and that door is the point rather than a courtesy.
The instruments belong to somebody else, and that is on purpose
The vihuela, the guitarrón and the guitar are Guitar Warrior’s families. The violin is Fiddle Warrior’s. This site claims none of them: it borrows them by name for display, which the network permits only when every borrowed instrument already has a deep home somewhere. The rule has teeth — the trumpet, the harp and the voice have no home in the network, so they get honest prose here and no link at all rather than an invented destination.
Everything with a number in it is recomputed
Slot counts, stroke tallies, both metric readings of the son’s twelve-slot bar, bar totals per form, the chord names each form’s grammar spells in a given key, the semitone span of a strummed grip: none of it is typed into a page. Every figure is derived from a data module and independently recomputed by a validator on every change. A page and its data cannot disagree here, because a build where they disagreed would not ship.
